Bataan Death March

After the Japanese captured the Philippines from the light US forces stationed there in a hopeless situation, the US POWs were treated horrifically and they knew what their fate was from stories of Japanese brutality. In Behind the Lines, both commanders and soldiers went AWOL in order to escape the brutality and get a chance to strike back with certain death.

  1. Ths video's very interesting. Everyone is happy about the successful rescue of the POW's. Personally, I enjoyed learning about WW2, (mostly in video games) but the triumph of US and its allies are very courageous and stupendous.
I've also learned a few things about General McArthur, since he was the one who led the battle with South Korea against North Korea.
(That's the same guy right?)If not, I'll have fun learning about new honorable patriots that led the men into success.
